As the ‘New year, new me’ posts inevitably come rolling in I thought I’d take a few moments to knock out my own New Years post.
Everyone generally wants to amend something for the forthcoming year, which is natural. Whether that be a habit or an acquisition of a new skill. However, although I like you have goals I’d like to focus on something we don’t always necessarily focus on; what we already have. It’s so easy to focus on the next goal, our next purchase, how we can improve ourselves without actually taking a step back and appreciating what we already have. This is something, I like most can be really rubbish at, but since reading The Secret by Rhonda Byrne the importance of it has been highlighted to me. Byrne focuses on the importance of being grateful for what you already have in order to progress positively through life. Furthermore she instills the importance of the mind in being able to achieve your goals with the very potent view of “what you think you become”, the law of attraction.
So, I’ve created a printable PDF of what I think is important to reflect and shift your focus on.

It may seem tough at first, but be mindful and stick with it. For example what you’re grateful for could just be your family, or the new bag you’ve recently purchased – simple! The objective of the sheet is to help you to appreciate what you have already and help when setting your goals for 2017 (although obviously you can set and amend your goals at any time).
I really hope you find this useful. Please let me know what you think!
